Arriving August 1st, 2018

Dr. Megan Renehan is thrilled to be moving back to her hometown of Colorado Springs!

Dr. Renehan was born in Vandenberg AFB, California as an Air Force “brat.” Both of her parents are Colorado Springs natives, and no matter where her father was stationed throughout the country, every summer her family would return to visit family in the Springs. Finally, when she was in 8th grade, her dad was assigned to Peterson AFB.

Dr. Renehan graduated from Pine Creek High School and subsequently attended Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas where she majored in Chemistry and Mathematics. She then attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine. During her first two years, Dr. Renehan loved to attend KU basketball games and cheer on her Jayhawks. Rock Chalk! Her last two years of medical school were in Wichita, Kansas, where she fell in love with obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Renehan graduated in the top 10% of her medical school class and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She is also very proud to have been nominated by her peers and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes physicians who exemplify compassionate patient care and leadership.

She completed residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas. During her fourth year, she served as the Chief Resident and was responsible for setting standards and directing the activities of nineteen other residents.

At Associates in Women’s Care, Dr. Renehan provides a comprehensive array of women’s healthcare services, including:
